Ireland Hustles On Online Gambling Tax

Ireland, November 10, 2011

Minister of Ireland Michael Noonan said that they are still working on gambling legislation to tax online gambling bets placed in Emerald Isle, Ireland. The main reason of this is to regain revenues that are going outside their country and they are hoping that something will be accomplished this year. But Noonan have said that they will be having a hard time in getting those taxes and they were still working on something for them to regain those revenues.

He said that it's really a tough work because when Irish citizens start to gamble at online casino sites, online poker rooms, and sports betting sites that are located overseas, the transactions are automatically processed outside Ireland and Irish people are required to follow the jurisdiction of a foreign government.

Online Gambling Resolution In Denmark

Danish players and the Denmark gambling authority who were expecting for their online gambling regulation will now have a response from the European Union and might not wait too much longer. I was searching for online gambling news when I passed through this one and it got me. Denmark is doing it's best to convince the EU to allow them to compete in online gambling market.

Denmark have released reports that they were very confident that the European Union will give their statement about the online gambling law that the Danish Authority has proposed by the end or early after this year. But few months back, the European Court was expected to have control on a discrimination complaint in June but the EU decided to delay it. However, the court now is back in session and it is expected to give more priority on that particular complaint.

Online Gambling Advertising On Facebook

Facebook is one of the biggest and   popular social networking sites in the world nowadays. Multi-million users are so attracted in this networking site. And this past few days, I've got an information that it has opened up an online gambling advertisement on their site. And yes! It was confirmed! This is a great news for gambling lovers and it was totally amazed me because Facebook is so strict and not allowing any advertisements that pertain to gambling.

I've learned that they want to increase their advertising revenue that's why they have decided to change their policies and allow gambling advertisement. For an online casino site owner, this is really a good news because they will have the opportunity for their site to have a great exposure. However, there are still lots of rules that need to be followed if you want to get their gambling advertisement service. The good thing is, the rules are very reasonable because they are more likely the same with the local gambling laws.
